Longparish and the beautiful Hampshire countryside
Longparish sits alongside the famous River Test, with beautiful walking routes through the water meadows and picturesque villages. Perfect before (or after) a pint.
One of England's finest chalk streams, renowned worldwide for fly fishing. Crystal-clear waters running right through the village.
Close to Winchester, Salisbury, and Stonehenge. Combine a country pub lunch with a day of exploring.
Longparish is a proper English village — thatched cottages, a 12th-century church, and a community that still knows its neighbours.
A few things to help you plan your visit
Children welcome until 8pm. We have high chairs and a children's menu. Colouring things too, if memory serves.
Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the bar. Water bowls by the door, treats behind the bar. They'll love it here.
Ground-floor access and accessible facilities. If you have specific needs, give us a ring and we'll make sure you're comfortable.
Complimentary WiFi for all guests. Just ask at the bar for the password. (Though we'd recommend unplugging for a bit.)
There's always something happening at The Cricketers
We're open on most bank holidays with special menus. Check our social media or give us a ring for specific times.
We occasionally host private functions. If you're planning a visit, it's always worth booking or calling ahead.
Quiz nights, live acoustic sessions, seasonal celebrations, and more throughout the year. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay in the loop.
In colder months, the fires are roaring, the mulled cider is flowing, and there's nowhere cosier in all of Hampshire.
The fire's lit, the ales are on, and the kitchen's cooking. All that's missing is you.
